The Concordia University School of Pharmacy students are collaborating with other CUW professional programs to provide an educational health fair promoting awareness for health, body, and spirit. This interactive event is geared toward all members of the community who are interested in expanding their knowledge on different disease states and health care programs. There will be a variety of informational booths, students of pharmacy/physician assistant/nursing/physical therapy/occupational therapy/athletic training programs to interact with, raffle prizes, and screenings for blood pressure/kidney disease/blood sugar. Educational booths include: diabetes, nutrition, cholesterol/hyperlipidemia, chronic kidney disease, asthma/COPD, smoking cessation, immunizations, generation Rx/poison control center, naloxone, mental health, Alzheimer's, opioid awareness, excercise/athletic training, stroke, non-pharmacologic therapies, and PA/PharmD/RN/PT/OT/AT CUW program tables. All are welcome!
